Our vision

reframe logoKia ora – I’m Tim Foote, Director of Reframe Aotearoa.

Reframe is a unique organisation – a new idea for how we can work with conflict in Aotearoa New Zealand. Reframe employs a social enterprise model to make conflict services accessible and affordable to the community, not-for-profit and small business sectors.

Structurally, this means Reframe’s services are built around making purposeful change; its fees take into account how much people and organisations can afford; and part of any profits it makes will be dedicated to creating social change projects. Practically, Reframe aims to provide a holistic service for people and organisations who are experiencing conflict.

Right now, Reframe provides a range of conflict services – including conflict coaching, mediation, and facilitation – to support people and organisations in transforming the way they communicate. We’re also developing training programs for working with conflict, and consultancy services to support organisations to develop better, more productive ways of working with conflict.

This is the beginning of a vision for a dynamic, agile enterprise that empowers people and organisations to work with and transform their experience of conflict. This vision is grounded in the belief that people can be empowered to make decisions for themselves – decisions that matter, and feel good.

Ngā mihi nui

Tim
